Short Term Goals

Use my role as a marketing intern to help enhance my knowledge of this field of business.

Talk with a coach at least one time a week about life after football, and getting assistance with building my network.

Use different methids of research such as Articles, Interviews , and journals to help me narrow down my desired position within this business field.
Long Term Goals

​Obtain a Financial Profesional position at a well established financial firm that will encourage my desire for growth within the company.

Obtain a masters degree in sports marketing, and use the skills that will have obtained in order to have a minimum salary of six figures.
As both a Financial Services major and a Student Athlete at The Ohio State University, the majority of my knowledge of the financial services field will be learned in the classroom, which is why my desired path in this field is so open. When compared to other students, Athletes tend to have a lack of field experience in their desired career. While at E.E. Ward Moving & Storage Co. I was able to gain valuable work experience as one of two marketing interns, but even with this work experience under my belt, i am in this same situation as other athletes. However what I lack in experience I more than make up for with my discipline, unmatched work ethic, and competitive spirit. As a football student athlete I also work with a team of 105 plus individuals on a daily basis, I am also able to balance dedicating 20+ hours to both football and school each week. Understanding that everyone has weaknesses, I’ve realized that my weakness is that sometimes can be over analytical. This comes from years of paying such close attention to detail that you begin to over think certain things.
